Eldon R-I Middle School and High School have a new choir director this year. Anna Horn brings an enthusiasm and love of music to her job. “I grew up in a musical family and have always had a passion for music. My senior year of high school I was deciding what to do with my life, whether that was to be a vet tech, dental hygienist, nursing, or becoming a music teacher,” says Horn  “I applied and got accepted into nursing school but something just didn't feel right. Music had always been my outlet, so I decided to visit the School for Music Vocations at Southwestern Community College in Creston, IA.  “I watched their music students go through finals and God made it very clear that music was the career path for me.”
