Wednesday, Feb. 22, the Eldon R-I School Board approved adding a music position.  Superintendent Matt Davis said, “Our middle school and high school music programs are fantastic and enrollment in those classes has continued to grow," said Superintendent Matt Davis. "Adding one additional teacher to help both programs would be a huge benefit.

Trivia, a silent auction and 50-50 drawing are on tap at a fund-raiser Saturday, March 11 for Eldon Montessori Children’s House. The event is at the Eldon Community Center, with proceeds benefitting the preschool.

Barbecue, music and more are on the agenda Sunday, March 12 at the 84th annual Lincoln Day banquet, with the event starting at 1 p.m. (doors open at noon) in the Tuscumbia school gym.
